El Testamento d’Amèlia is part of Llobet’s Canciones Populares Catalanas. It has a very dark and dramatic theme similar to Federico Garcia Lorca’s Blood Wedding. Despite the drama, it is one of the beautiful classical guitar pieces that showcases natural and artificial harmonics on the guitar. This is a standard in the classical guitar repertoire.
