The colombianas is a 4/4 style in the flamenco genre that belongs to the flamenco tango family. Accents are typically on 2 & 4 and they are usually written in a major key using a IV-V7-I progression. Paco Peña’s version is a very traditional colombiana that arranges all of the guitar’s traditional parts for vocal accompaniment to create this beautiful and light solo guitar piece.
