Adelita (Classical Guitar)

Adelita

Adelita (mazurka)Composed by Francisco Tárrega (1852 1909, Spain) and performed by Tavi Jinariu.

The mazurka is a music and dance style from 16th-century Poland that became very popular in 19th-century Spain (when F. Tárrega was in his compositional prime). Adelita is a standard in the classical guitar repertoire and although relatively short, it is musically and technically very rich. This is a really fun piece to play and I hope that you find Tavi’s version inspiring!

Now that you’ve tackled Adelita, this next classical guitar piece BWV 1006a will challenge your technique and elevate your musical expression.

Whether you’re into Flamenco or Classical, my Spanish guitar course will help you practice smarter, learn faster, and play beautifully.
