This piece was originally written for piano in 1909 and later transcribed for guitar by Manuel López Ramos (I believe). This is one of Ponce’s most famous pieces and a standard in the “Spanish” classical repertoire. It is an advanced piece but despite its technical complexity, still has a very clear and memorable melody.
